I plant all my Clematis about 2 cm below the soil level.

As species are not normally planted deeper, does this apply to cirrhosa as well?

I just bought a small plant and was wondering if I should plant it deeper? I have a cirrhosa Jingle bells from many years ago that is doing well, but I cant remember how I planted that one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Greetings,
