Greetings from Oslo with c. japonica. In 2005 I got seed from I Cl S (Osamu Miikeda) and now have many seedlings flowering inside and outside. Outside yet only buds, but in the greenhouse there are already 8 flowers. C. japonica is very interesting species from Japan. Hardiness zone H6 (Gray-Wilson) - and this seem to fit the climate very well here in Oslo.

It is also very interesting to see how it can develop up to 4 buds at each junction like on this picture.
 
And also the nice inside yellowisch/ greenish colour.
