My   Rouge Cardinal, which was planted out end of March, has been flowering and more buds  swelling.
Unfortunately  today I notice that some leaves are turning brown.  Could this be because there  has been so much rain this season?
Is it good to feed Clematis with tomato feed?

tomato fert are quite perfect for Clematis, the lower leaves do naturally turn brown when the plant has no more use of them.
Clematis are strong growers and they recycle the older leaves and transfer the nutrient to the top new growth, the better ballance in nutrient and water the longer the older (lower) leaves stay green
