A red viticella hybrid.

   Today it was a surprise when I found the first flowers of the hybrid viticella x 'Westerplatte'. It is a real red flower RHS 1966 59B. The flower has the same velours color as 'Westerplatte'. The size of the flower is 7 cm. I have a lot of seedlings of viticella and campaniflora but all are in the same kind of color from very dark to light but this is complete other. I compare the flower with some other viticella hybrids/cultivars but the color is much more red.

	A lovely seedling Ton, I can imagine that, en masse, those flowers would look just superb!!
