The Clematis from China are putting on growth, but I have my doubts that they are all what the label says they are.

I am particularly intrigued by the clematis Fusca (JiLin) because it doesn't look like any Fuscas I have seen. Maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone have any ideas? It has purple colouring around the leaf nodes. Also the clematis intricata - is it intricata?

Clematis Fusca JiLin?

Clematis Intricata?

It looks like a thalictrum. I have the same experience but it is very intersting because I have got some special plants from China. f.e. Clematis 'Irisevi'.

Thanks, I think you are right. I went on the RHS site and it looks very similar to Thalictrum reniforme. I'm not sure what I will do with it.

Thalictrum reniforme is a rare species!
