Hello

I am a complete novice to the clematis and have just purchased my first 3 plants. They are in the standard plastic long tom style nursery pots and I want to pot them on one size at a time. The problem is can any Forum member suggest where I can obtain these style pots starting at 11cm diameter top x 13cm deep through 4 stages to 18cm diameter top to 23 diameter deep.
I really would appreciate any help or advice that any member can offer me. Thank you.

Hi
I had the same problem , I could only get suitable pots if I ordered in bulk,
In the end I used black buckets , make sure there is plenty of drainage holes
in the bottom , you can tie the support sticks to the handle , for support .
they use to be also cheep .

Hi,

I get most of my long tom, or rose pots from our local horticultural supplier, where I can buy anything from individual pots to a batch of around a hundred. I also have used the buckets that florists use to display their flowers, these can be obtained from some shops, cheaply and in some cases used ones are free.

Best of luck

Roy
